・現在の保守党政権のみならず、前の労働党政権でも、政権内部に大衆紙幹部をいれているなど、大衆紙とつるむのは、現在の英国政界ではありふれている
・英国の新聞では、ヤバい取材手法が珍しくない
・今回、とりたててNews of the Worldの件を問題視する理由の一つに
　英国(の特にメディア界)に根強くある、マードックのメディア支配強化にたいする懸念がある　
  (株買い増しによるマードックBSkyBフルコントロールの認可問題と時期もかさなった)
など、
目から鱗。
